Newborn Photography
The first two weeks go by faster than anyone tells you. Babies sleep deeply, curl the way they did before they were born, and then one morning they don't anymore. That's the window we shoot in — usually somewhere between day 5 and day 14.
We don't run these sessions on a stopwatch. Babies need to eat, be changed, and settle before anything good happens, and rushing that is how you end up with photos of an unhappy baby. We block out the time and let the session take as long as it takes.
Studio or your own home — both work, they just look different. Annie is here for all of these sessions, so one of us is always free to help with baby while the other shoots.
We book around your due date rather than a fixed date on the calendar.

FAQ
How does booking around my due date work?
You book the package while you're pregnant, and we schedule your maternity session for a specific date. For the newborn session, we hold your spot open around your due date instead of locking a day. Once baby arrives, text us — we'll confirm the exact date within a few days, ideally when baby is 5 to 14 days old.
What if baby comes early or late?
That's exactly why we hold the date open. Early or late, your spot is still yours. There's no rescheduling fee.
What if we pass the 14-day window?
It happens — a longer hospital stay, a NICU visit, a hard first week. We still shoot the session. Babies past two weeks are more awake and less curled, so we lean toward wrapped poses and family portraits instead of the deep-sleep setups. Let us know and we'll plan for it.
Can we split the package between studio and home?
Yes. The most common combination is maternity in studio and newborn at home, which is the $150 in-home upgrade.
Do we have to book both sessions together?
No. You can book the maternity session on its own and add newborn later — returning maternity clients take $75 off. The package just saves you more and guarantees your newborn spot.
